This pine needle basket was made as part of a

traditional pine basket weaving workhop led by

Priscilla Gebauer

at the Hammond Regional Art Center.

It is fabricated from pine needles, raffia and grape vines.

The grape vines are from my muscadine plants

that survived Hurricane Katrina.
